Forget the flashing cameras and front-row celebrities for a moment. This year, Australian Fashion Week wasn't just about the clothes – it was about the magic happening backstage. And right in the heart of that frenzy were the beating hearts of Oscar Oscar Salons.

We weren't chosen by Redken, an industry titan, just to tame flyaways. We were there to breathe life into the next generation of fashion. It was an honor, sure, but the real story unfolded in hushed whispers and bursts of creative energy as our stylists transformed models into living works of art.

Here's the thing that surprised me most: when I sat down with some of the stylists to capture their experiences, I wasn't met with the usual "it was amazing" platitudes. These stylists poured their hearts out. The love for their craft, the camaraderie within the team, the sheer pride of being an OO stylist at fashion week – it was unfiltered, and deeply touching.
